The HealthCentral Network Announces New Additions and Changes to its Senior Management Team
Arlington, VA - The HealthCentral Network (www.TheHealthCentralNetwork.com), a ChoiceMedia Company, is expanding its senior management team to meet the rapidly growing online consumer health information sector.
Joining the HealthCentral Network team, Lyn Andrews has been named Chief Revenue Officer and will be responsible for all sales and ad product development. Andrews is an experienced executive who has held senior level positions at both traditional and interactive media companies: CBS Television Networks, ABC Radio Networks, WebMD, The Weather Channel/weather.com, and Boomerang Mobile Media. A highly respected sales leader in the industry, Andrews has a clear track record of strengthening customer relationships, expanding new business opportunities, and embracing the newest technologies while always focused on the needs of her customers.
Bob Cecere, former Executive Vice President of Sales, will be taking on a new set of responsibilities that will capitalize on his experience in the E-Health category. As Executive Vice President of Strategic Sales and Product Development, Cecere will develop new, innovative convergence programs as well as expand relationships with the HealthCentral Network's major partners and sponsors. Cecere will report to Andrews. Cecere joined ChoiceMedia in early 2000 and has been instrumental in the growth of this premium health network. Prior to joining Choice Media, Mr. Cecere was Senior Vice President of Physician's Online (POL), Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Formedic Communications, and an Executive Vice President and Group Publisher of Medical Tribune.
Alex Baldwin has also joined the ranks of The HealthCentral Network, as Vice President and General Counsel. Prior to joining the HealthCentral Network, Baldwin was a junior partner in the Corporate Department of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, where he worked since 1997. He has worked primarily with early stage technology companies and has extensive experience in a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings and public securities offerings, as well as corporate governance and commercial transactions. "I am excited to join the impressive team at The HealthCentral Network and look forward to helping the company continue to grow as a leading provider of health-related information and resources online," Baldwin said.
