ARLINGTON, VA - The HealthCentral Network, Inc. (www.HealthCentral.com) has received top recognition from the eHealthcare Leadership Awards for its breast cancer site, MyBreastCancerNetwork.com, and its migraine site, MyMigraineConnection.com.
Honored for their health industry innovation on the Web, the sites received awards in the category of best consumer disease-focused site. MyBreastCancerNetwork.com won a Gold Award for Best Interactive Site, while MyMigraineConnection.com received a Distinction Award for Best Overall Internet Site. The sites were judged in comparison to other health sites on the Web and were given scores based on overall Internet excellence.
The HealthCentral Network's more than 30 health-specific Web sites offer expert medical information and interactive tools and resources, while fostering a community of patient-to-patient and patient-to-expert support and insight. MyBreastCancerNetwork.com and MyMigraineConnection.com are two of the condition-specific sites.
