The National Association For Continence and The HealthCentral Network Form Alliance to Develop New Online Resources for Patients Coping with Incontinence

Arlington, VA and Charleston, SC – The National Asociation For Continence (NAFC) (www.nafc.org) and The HealthCentral Network, Inc. (www.HealthCentral.com) announced today that NAFC Executive Director Nancy Muller will join HealthCentral’s growing community of patients, caregivers, advocates and health experts dedicated to helping people suffering from incontinence. Muller will offer support, give incontinence management tips and update the community on incontinence news through a blog on bladder and bowel health for HealthCentral.com’s  IncontinenceNetwork.com, a site dedicated to offering information and community support to those dealing with incontinence.

The alliance offers NAFC access to HealthCentral’s unique online applications and large consumer audience and provides HealthCentral communities with the deep insights, research access and resources of NAFC.

“It is hugely valuable to our communities to offer NAFC’s expertise in the latest treatments available for preventable incontinence problems,” said Chris Schroeder, CEO and President of The HealthCentral Network. “Through this collaboration, we will be able to offer further support to those coping with incontinence.”

“NAFC is always looking for credible ways to educate the public about bladder and bowel health, and to increase the visibility and priority given to these areas in disease management”, said Nancy Muller, Executive Director of NAFC. “We see this collaboration with HealthCentral as a natural avenue for supporting the millions of people who deal with incontinence at some point in their lives.”
